Vinay Panjwani is a Documentary and Architectural photographer from Ahmedabad, India.
He has had 6 solo shows (Portraits and Spaces, Interrobang, Utsav, Cut Shots, Face-a-Face, Intersections). His works have been exhibited at Venice, New York,NGMA-Delhi , Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and many more places. He has received honours from Sony World Photo Awards, Epochtimes (New York), NPPA (Durham-USA), I&B Ministry-India, Red frames international. He was featured by the National Geographic Channel in 2013 as a part of Mission covershot. He is a mentor for Nikon India since 2013 and has hosted over 150 workshops for them. He currently is also a brand influencer for Nikon in India.
He is also a photo consultant with Unicef in India since over 5 years and his work has been widely published by them including their global platforms.
He has worked extensively on Pritzker winner architect B V Doshi and his photographs on him have been a part of a award winning book “Architecture for the People” published by Vitra Design Museum, Germany. His photos on Doshi have also been showcased at Shanghai Power station of Art, Vitra Design Museum(Germany), Munech – Germany, Austria and NGMA- New Delhi.
He has worked with on various coffee table books. Some of his clients are Unicef, Gujarat Tourism, Chief ministers Office, Govt of Gujarat, Financial times London, Nat geo Traveller(India), various corporates and NGOs. He has photographed various chief ministers and also our hon Prime Minister.
He continues his growth in photography under the mentorship of Magnum photographer Raghu Rai.
